Mumford also known as Gammah is a community located in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region of Ghana. Its nearly 1 to 2km from Apam township. As of 2013, Mumford had a settlement population of 18,368 people.
As part of our project to visit communities in the Central Region to work on our Comprehensive Sexuality Education we chanced on a Puberty rite Event which is organized every year in October before their Akwambo festival around November.
